Not fluent in Bark? Don’t speak a word of Yap, silent in Yelp? help is at hand: A translator of Barks. The dog has a thing that records and sends his barks to the human held translating device, and the bark is translated into one of six emotions, or some stock phrases like “I like to sharpen my teeth on Postmen”.

Only planned for sale in Japan, there are obvious translation problems: How do you translate from inscrutable Japanese Dogspeak into Newfoundland, or Yorkshire Terrier, let alone Bouvier de Flandres? And from there into Engrish?
And do we really want to know?
